The professional expenses insurance is available to all businesses and individuals and covers a complete area of tax investigations and disputes.

  • Employee Compliance Disputes

  • HM Revenue and Customs VAT Disputes

Range and Limit of cover

In the event of an accepted claim the insurance pays Professional Expenses up to a limit of £75,000 for full investigations. Aspect enquiries are subject to a fee limit of £1,000 and professional fees below £100 are not covered by this insurance.

The Professional Expenses include the fees of McKenzie Knight and Partners and any other experts who may be required to provide you with the best representation possible at no additional cost.

The insurance DOES NOT reimburse you for additional tax, interest or penalties which may become due as a result of the enquiry, but will ensure that you can have the best representation, at no additional cost, so that you can deal with the Revenue Authorities on an equal basis.
