a&b are committed to fundraising in a planned and structured way. Our aim is to raise as much as possible for our chosen charities. Here are just some of the things our staff have done to raise money:
THE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE
8 members of our staff braved the elements in June 2008 to raise money for The Donna Louise Trust. With over £6,500 raised in sponsorship it was well worth all the hard work training in the weeks leading up to the walk.
CHARITY BALL
To celebrate our birthday and to give a big boost to the fundraising target we are held a Charity Ball in October 2008 at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Manchester. We are very grateful to all those who supported the event and a great night was had by all. We are very proud to have raised over £6,500 for The Donna Louise Trust.
ANNUAL CHARITY QUIZ NIGHT 2009
A great time was had by all 220 attendees of our Quiz at the home of Stockport County FC which raised £800 for the Kidscan Cancer Charity.
GOLF DAY 2010
The a&b charity golf day 2010 was held on Friday 7th May at Hazel Grove Golf Club, Stockport. We were delighted to welcome our many attendees to the event who all enjoyed a round of golf in glorious sunshine. The event raised a further £1382 for The Donna Louise Trust.
